Colleen Hendry is an integral part of the Davis Family Law team. With over 13 years of experience in family and real estate law, Colleen serves as paralegal for the firm. Working exclusively in family law for the past five years, Colleen has been described by clients as "outstanding" and "on a different level." 

 

Originally from Mesa, Arizona, Colleen moved to Alabama to attend Auburn University where she obtained her B.A. in Economics. Having grown up in the desert, Colleen couldn't pass up the chance to live within driving distance of the beautiful Gulf of Mexico.  After graduation, she relocated to Mobile, where she worked for one of the area's largest and most respected real estate firms.

Later, Colleen met her future husband and got firsthand experience of the stress that accompanies family law matters when she helped him obtain custody of his young daughter. During that challenging period, Colleen developed a keen interest in all family law issues and eventually decided to focus her legal career on family law. 

 

​Because Colleen has lived through a complicated and all-consuming family law matter, she understands how stressful a divorce or child custody case can be. She relies on her own experience to help clients focus their energy on the critical facts and issues necessary to achieve positive results in their cases. Through sheer determination, innovative trial preparation, and attention to detail, Colleen strives to put each Davis Family Law client in the best possible position going into the courtroom. On top of that, Colleen's compassion and understanding with clients is unsurpassed.
